On 19/11/2018 the MOST Minister issued a decision requiring the NOIP to revoke the refusal decision and proceed with necessary procedures to protect the mark “BIO-CERT” as a whole.

The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) revoked the decision of the National Office of Intellectual Property (NOIP) rejecting to protect in Vietnam the mark "SEASONAL TASTES" of Westin Hotel Management LP (Westin) for Group 43.

It is not enough to say that rampant availability of counterfeit and fake goods online is "killing" true brand and serious manufacturers as it also harms consumers who spend money on poor quality goods, especially health care products which can cause numerous unpredictable consequences  

"Counterfeit watches are becoming more and more sophisticated, difficult to distinguish with naked eye. There are also watches that we cannot tell they are real or fake. We sometimes have to check genuine chips to distinguish real and fake goods"
