The symposium on how to distinguish genuine and counterfeit goods bearing HONDA marks in the central region

Under the current provisions on settlement of counterfeit goods, the competent authorities on their own initiative have right to raid and inspect on counterfeit goods, but however must cooperate with the IP right holders for obtaining the verification. (Article 22.3 of Decree 99/2013/ND-CP).

Pham & Associates is a legal representative for Honda Motor Japan for enforcement of IP rights in Vietnam. To enhance the fight against counterfeit goods, infringing goods, on behalf of the rights holder, on March 13 to 14, 2014 Pham & Associates, Danang Branch Office cooperated with the Market Management Department (“the MMD”) and the Economic Police in Quang Nam and Binh Dinh provinces to take place the symposia on how to distinguish genuine and counterfeit goods bearing HONDA marks.
