Client update: New regulations on printing activities
On June 19, 2014, the Government issued Decree
No. 60/2014/ND-CP provides regulations on printing activities. The Decree specifies printing activities including:
activities in granting license of printing, outsourcing printing of
publications, VAT invoices, cards, and stamps for anti-counterfeit, packaging,
labels of goods etc. and the provisions of the declaration on the basis of
photocopy services, equipment import... Apart from the other prohibited acts, the publishing,
post-printing processing, photocopying violates the provisions of the law on
intellectual property will be handled in accordance with the law on
intellectual property. Organizations violate the provisions of this Decree
shall be administratively sanctioned , depending on the nature and seriousness
of their violations; paid compensation in accordance with law; Individuals violate
the provisions of this Decree shall be disciplined, administratively sanctioned
or taken criminal proceeding depending on the nature and seriousness of their
violations. This Decree shall take effect from November 01,
