Time limit for preserving specific science-technology dossiers and documents
The Ministry of Science and Technology has issued Circular 19/2019/TT-BKHCN dated Decemeber 11, 2019 on regulating the time limit for preserving specific S&T dossiers and documents. This Circular takes effect from February 3, 2020.
This Circular applies to following 7 Groups: Group1: Dossiers, documents of S&T management; Group 2: Dossiers, documents of management of S&T tasks; Group 3: Dossiers, documents of scientific researches; Group 4: Dossiers, documents of technology development; Group 5: Dossiers, documents of intellectual property; Group 6: Dossiers , documents of standards, metrologies and qualities; Group 7: Dossiers, documents of radiation and nuclear safety and atomic energy.
Based on their types, the dossiers, documents will be archived for 5, 7, 10, 15, 20 or 30 years or perpetually.
